GMFL, what year is yours. There were two wires over there that would work for an inverter on mine. But mine is a 2017.

I would removed the sea level and poke around, might be one there. Also, look at the rats nest area and see if you can see any unattached RJ45 cables, if so then you have some presides. If yours is a newer model I can send some photos..

We just took ours out for the maiden voyage this last weekend. Temps in the day, high 70s, fridge stayed cool, way cool. I was worried the entire fridge was going to be a freezer. I had to keep moving that white control bar down.

Also, no heat build up, no odors/fumes, and everyone slept well as the noise was hardly noticeable. We left the fans on 24/7 the entire trip.

Our 23d has the new tank level sensor and for one i like to know how much fluid each tank really holds and just how much is in it as a planing tool.
Here are my figures for the tanks.

Well I took Troutboy's advice and did a little digging and my inverter install just got a whole lot easier. Look what I found.

Mine is a 2014. Here is The wire on the schematics so it was a pre-run inside the wiring harness my trailer just did not come with the inverter option.

"L" portion. So i picked up a folding ottoman- like a camp chair to out my feet up on. We use TV tables to eat inside on. Otherwise we eat outside on the camp table. We also have a Rollup aluminum table to use where there is no camp table.

Oh, excellent! I've got to dig into mine and see if the wiring harness is there as it is in yours. Is the first photo of the plug under the table at the front of the trailer?

Rob, First pic is plug in galley and second is under street side lounge up close to where the 12 volt comes in. There is also an Ethernet cable in there that is marked solar control.

Dbdream posted this pic showing the stock inverter switch above the galley plug right where the wire is located. I am going the hook everything up and test before I cut a hole in my galley wall for the inverter switch

Thanks, Ronnie, for your kind compliments. This car is actually a part of our retirement plan... it is number 40 of only 62 ever made. It is one of fifteen verified examples listed on the German Porsche M491 registry. That's 30 year old paint, and the entire car looks like it was built this morning. I have entered it in 8 shows and wound up with six "best in class," and two "best in show." Two of these "shows" were Porsche Club of America events... and that's a whole different level of crazy (I can say that since I've been a part of it for over 40 years). I love this thing.

I am a new poster so bear with me. I posted yesterday about the tank sizes on our 23d. My biggest concern has been the size of the Grey tank. Our 2016 model has the newer tank monitor system. So I could better manage while boondocking it helped me to know what the monitor % meant as far as gallons in each tank. My first post was garbled so i will try again now. your numbers should be similar depending on the factory placing the sensing tape on the tanks in the same places.

Grey Water has a listed capacity of 21 gal. I found that I could easily put 25 gal in this tank before it was really full. The guage readings follow

Grey gallons in tank/% shown on guage
2gal=13% 4gal=38% 6gal=44% 8gal=50% 10gal=69% 12gal=75% 14gal=81% 16gal=88% 18gal=94% 20gal=100% I was able to add 5 more gal before tank was full

Our black tank had the following readings
2gal=0% 4gal=0% 6gal=0% 8gal=19% 10gal=38% 12gal=75% 14gal=94% 16gal=100% 18gal=full

Fresh water had the following readings
5gal=0% 10gal=19% 15gal=38% 20gal=56% 25gal=75% 30gal=100% 35gal=100% 39gal=full

I keep a small card in a drawer so i can determine what i really have in my tanks and find it to helpful. I hope this post is a little more inteligable. Im still learning how to post on the forum

So, to further prove that I've got more time than creativity, I set out to "improve the factory curtains" to make them hang better.

From Home depot, I purchased several little "driveway markers" (see photo) which are a 1'4" fiberglass rod with a two-sided reflector on one end. The way the factory curtains are made, a length of the 1'4" rod into the "pocket" on each end of the curtain. This stiffens the edges of the curtains and makes a real improvement in the way they hand. It even gives a bit more of a "handle" to use when opening/closing the curtains. On a couple of the curtains, I had to open up a few stitches to get the rods in, but the stitches were easily replaced. Now the rods can be removed for cleaning and simply reinserted. It's important to remember to round over the ends of the rods to make them smooth... that helps them slide into the curtains and will keep them from "gouging" the fabric when in use.

Interesting on the grey water being able to add about 5 more as that would be close to 25, versus the stated 21.

What I like about your post is that you tested the limits to see where it would go.

I like that idea and thinking and hadnt thought about it.

I think it's a great idea and I will plan to do a test on my grey and black.

As I am learning and boondock, I am finding that the grey tank is my limiting factor. So best to get smart about it and "calibrate" the tank.

As you mention, highly unlikely that the measuring tape is installed the same on all units.
