I noticed a few weeks ago that the 23FB thread was gone. I know I've posted in it and those posts are gone. Strange.

Ronnie, nice job.
Hoping to install the light strip like you did, but thinking with a plug and then when we want to use it, connect to the outside, maybe using a usb plug with a thin wire extension cord ?
Also a mess of light alternatives here in Aliexpress

I found it in the search function (23FB thread), but the result says "invalid"

Ronnie, looks good. I like this better than the factory install, as it looks like you can use the light strip without the awning deployed. On mine, the awning has to be deployed and the lights are rolled up in the awning when you close it. So they can only be used when the awning is open.
The lights in the awning are more like the link below, and they also don’t change colors like yours.

Put my new toilet on last night. Low and behold, whoever at the factory installed my closet flange decided to install it with the bolt holes 90 degrees to the back wall, so...without the toilet angling toward the shower as specified. Nearly impossible to use without the door open. No big deal.
I was also very disappointed to see that the hole in the floor was not centered correctly, so for the flange to be centered over the waste opening, two of the four wood screws holding down the flange basically are not screwed into anything, they are right at the edge of the hole. They catch just a tiny bit of floor. Stared at it for quite awhile thinking what I could do about it, and realized---nothing, short of tearing up and replacing the platform. The toilet seems solid enough, so I'll just be aware of it and keep an eye on things.
Also, I wish I had noticed the option to order without the sprayer from Dyers. Just more complexity deciding where to located the holder for the handle, and more places for leaks. And totally unnecessary given that the shower handle is a foot away if needed. It's a whole other valve on the back of the toilet, so it can't be removed easily. So I'll keep it but would not recommend getting it for a 23D.

Funny how far apart some folks are on what they prefer, ie large bathroom over large dining/sitting area. Most however liked the queen-ish bed. Neither matter to me. My only attraction was the tongue weight, but easy to fix that by loading 300 lbs of weights from my old barbells in the rear storage compartment...

Cell Signal Booster Install
Has anyone installed a cell signal booster in their 23D. Looking for the best way to run the cable from the outside antennae to the unit inside.

So going through my list of what needs to get done:
*Continue resealing all windows and doors with sikaflex.
*Seal all roof areas/vents.
*New batteries - AGM Lifelines.
Paint tongue
Install additional refrigerator vent fans
*Maxxair fan - buy and install
*Micro Air easy start buy and install
*Repair roof behind vent
*FM antenna - new one to install
*Reseal winegard batwing mast.
*Install new propane pigtails
*Install new propane regulator
Purchase new propane tanks (1 yr left).
*Check constantly running water pump.
Mod pump to reduce noise.
Purchase a TPMS system
Ronnies light strip
Completely rebuild front L couch - new cushions
(this is beginning to remind me of my boat... a hole in the water that you continually pour money into )
*repair screen door
*install new lug nuts
install belt line trim
install solar panels/system.
build shelves for use around the back bed.
new sink cover with larger hole
folding shelf off counter by door.
Insert top to cover pull-out pantry for use as additional counter space.
huh.. huh... huh.. huh...(heavy breathing here just looking at this list).
*Oh yeah... get out and go somewhere. First trip looks like weekend after july 4th to Kennebunkport Maine.
Items with asterisks * are must do now.

I like the side of the fantastic fan, about 1/2”up from the roof but below the level of the closed lid. Has worked well for my solar install and LED awning lights. Use a dome nut on wire to seal it up

I might have asked this but couldn’t find it, so sorry if I did.
Do any of you use hypervent and is it necessary for trips of 1 week or less?
Heading out for 4 days tomorrow, second trip of the year!

We don’t use it and we are in the south. As dry as it is where you are I don’t think you need it

This time of year, you should be fine. The moisture issue mostly occurs when cold-weather camping and there is a larger disparity between the outdoor and indoor temperature. This occurs even here in the dry west, due to humidity in the trailer (aspiration, perspiration, cooking, bathing). Moisture can appear under the mattress right above the outdoor storage compartment, almost in a perfect outline of the compartment below. I've experienced it when winter camping in previous trailers, inc. my 19 which is same rear layout as 23d.
I do try to get out in the winter now and then, so I am adding hypervent or something similar to my 23d. Others have also insulated the inside of the storage compartment with foil insulation, particularly the inner 'roof' of the compartment. Good moisture/humidity management is key: a dehumidifier is great, but at minimum, running exhaust fans when cooking/bathing; leaving a ceiling vent cracked overnight; etc.
Have a great weekend, I'm getting loaded in and headed down to Bryce for my official inaugural trip (not counting the drive home from picking it up in California) in my 23d--gotta give that new toilet a try!
Peter
