As I have stated before, there was a 2" difference in the leading edge of the wheel wells between street side and sub side on our 2015 23D. Street side the 15: tires fit fine with about a ½" gap (due to suspension design, the tires move up and back when hitting a bump). So we trimmed the aluminum skin on the leading edge curb side and re-attached the trim pieces and then the 15" tire fit with a little less margin of between ⅜" and 7/16”
Thanks for the tire pressure recommendation, I will try it out and monitor tire temp while traveling

Also my wheel wells were exactly the same as above. We have a lot of miles on our 15’ Michelin’s with no problems

I thought running at such low pressure would destroy side wall?

For convenience I am using the load table for the 16" Michelin LT225/75R16/E LTX M/S2 tires rated 2,680 pounds @ 80 psi we installed on our Classic. The load table for the "E" rated tire is:

80psi 2,680 (E)
75psi 2,560
70psi 2,440
65psi 2,335 (D)
60psi 2,190
55psi 2,060
50psi 1,940 (C)
45psi 1,790

so the inflation pressure is adjustable for the load. A temperature monitoring system will tell one the right pressure for the load. We use 73 psi as we only need a 2,500 pound rating per our actual loads for each tire.

The same concept would apply to the 15" Michelins mentioned above.

This part makes sense to me, but how do we account for the required sidewall stiffness for tight turns? Wouldn’t max pressure be best when taking that into account?

I am confused about the refrigerator size. The website shows the International 23CB refrig is 7 cu. ft. and the Flying Cloud 23CB is 5 cu. ft. The 23FB is 5 for both. How does the International have room for the 7 when the FC gets the 5?

I don't know how or why, but that is correct. We looked at the 23FB International, and the 23CB International (bought the 23CB International), and the 23CB has the bigger fridge.

Doing a little decorating today....

Is it ok to have the vinyl magnet (The Sky Is The Limit) on the front of the oven, or will that area heat up?

Might move the Gros Morne sign to another area...deciding if I like it in that spot...maybe a little crowded looking.

Also, we bought a memory foam mattress topper today.

I LOVE our trailer, even when she's just parked at home in the driveway!

I wish I could keep mine at home (HOA rules plus no space really). It's in individual covered storage about 15 minutes away and I find myself making excuses to go over and visit and just sit inside. I'd love to have a way to keep it at home so I could tinker more, but lord knows how much time I'd waste just sitting in there having morning coffee with the tunes on!

What topper did you go with?

You need to update your profile with what you wound up buying rather than 'currently looking'! It appears you have a 23CB Serenity?

Is it possible the 23CB does not have the microwave mounted above the refrigerator and is instead below the 3 burner cooktop where the oven would ordinarily be? Maybe when the oven is omitted the microwave is placed there leaving more room for a taller refrigerator?

My 23D International (23CB) has an oven and a microwave and has the 5 c/f refrigerator. I plan to replace in within the next year with a Vitrifrigo model.

Bought the topper at Costco. $120, gel infused. Will test it out tonight on top of our mattress in the house.

I tried to update my profile pic and info, with no luck. Will try again.

Our microwave is above the fridge. How they fit the bigger fridge in the new internationals is a mystery, but is a wonderful thing. On our recent maiden voyage, we had tons of fridge space, unlike the tiny fridge we had in the Interstate.

Is it correct that the fresh water tank on a 23CB/D is behind the axles? Pat
