Yes, after the 1st time one broke. I purchased a piano hinge yesterday and will give that a go. Heading to VA next week and when I get back will be pulling up floor vinyl to figure out why we've a hole just 1-1/2' from the door. This repair will be interesting.

Thanks Y'all

Any other 2019 23CBs yet? Would like to compare a few shots from the refrigerator compartment
I feel the wiring of the fan in ours is not as built.
Thanks,
David

Installed the hinge this morning. Went ok, only one damn came outta my mouth! I'm hoping to also post a pic of completed hinge and one of another problem. Trying to figure out why just at this location (exactly where measure tape is shown) I have soft floor as in rot. Just a weird place!

I’m going to install a Victron BMV 702, Shunt and Bluetooth dongle tomorrow. I have a plan just gotta implement.
I’m going to use the existing cat5 prewire Cable Airstream installed by dropping a pair of wires and using the 6 needed.
This will allow me to mount the display over by the inverter switch and tank monitor.
I know, I know. I don’t have to use or see the display because I have Bluetooth, but I want to be able to see it.
As usual I’ll document the process and let you know how it goes.

The 23D thread

GMFL, et al, I’m sure Lester will agree with me on this:

I wouldn’t bother with soldering. A proper crimp covered with adhesive lined marine heat sink will be more durable. Reason is the solder stiffens the cable strands and makes them prone to breakage from vibration. No connection to a stranded wire in Aeronautical or space systems is EVER soldered. Just a high quality crimp with calibrated and inspected crimping tools.
For us retired Boeing folks, a quality ratchet crimper or a decent hydraulic one is what i use. I’ll pass on the calibration hassle and just do a pull test. If it does not come loose when I firmly yank on it, it’s just fine...

Got back home last night so can post a couple of shots of the refrigerator area and what I don't like. Will work on fixes as time around Christmas allows. Wires are just draped over the tubes by the connecters and top tube touching the top of the cabinet. Did not catch everything at the dealer's, imagine that!!
Will be happy to talk about the dealer one on one if anybody wants to, don't want to start a dealer bashing on this thread.

Happy Saturday all
David

That looks about par to the course. Airstream wiring 101 “just hide it”.

They have got to get better at keeping things neat and tidy.
