Charge converter is a good MOD but not nessasary if you don’t leave batteries on it all the time.
The lift I made was super easy. 3” square stock and match you stock frame and axle holes and you are good to go.
Thanks for the vote of confidence

In might redo my lift like yours Ronnie. My gas line is working fine but I like how yours goes through the square. I don’t think there’s anyway to run it through. In mine with the Dexter lift. Too many 90degree turns.

Rookie! A true overkill would have extended that square stock much longer to protect that gas line![emoji23][emoji23]

Hey Scott,
Thanks for noticing the BLOG. I’m working on getting all my stuff organized and posted in there so the I have a easy to reference data base of my work on my trailer...... so that if I ever sell it the people looking at it will understand why I’m asking soooooooo much money and the eventual buyer will understand why they are spending sooooooooo much money.
Kinda like a 23D pedigree.

Now thats funny Rich ...
I need to buy a new trailer to do cool mods vs maintenance and repairs to a 11 yo one.
Reminds me, one of our curved doors under the sink broke loose at the hinges, ie screws came out. Seem to recall you had a fix for that?

Got the new wheels and tires bolted on. I lucked out and the spare fit! Only tire that concerns me is street side rear, about one and one half inch to the trim...
Also, I did one side with the centramatics lip facing in. The other side facingout. I think facing out may be hitting the wheel? Oh well, I'll keep them torqued and see how they do

Those do look nice! Congrats!
Did you paint the Centramatics? Mine are black and mounted lip inward. Your look silver?

Thanks, the centramatics came silver stock. The silver ones are known to balance better

Now that’s funny right there! 🤡
Watch out for side with Centramatics mounted with the lip facing out, the tires on that side may tend to spin a little faster causing your Airstream to tend to want to go in a circle! LOL

There were two guys cutting the wheel wells on our 2015 23D. One cut the opening to within ˝" of the front plastic wheel well street side and the curb side chap left over 1.5" of metal. No problem with the stock 14" tire and wheels. A major problem for my 15" SenDel wheels and 15" Michelin tires. A pair of tin snips made the club side opening come within ˝" of the curb side plastic.
I have about a ˝" clearance between the edge of the tire and the metal. However, tire movement due to the trailing arm suspension is up and back.

I have been on vacation and its been raining...lots of rain. That has given me some time to work on the 23d. I finished up on the water heater support, this was relatively easy to do. Next up was to ad the extra slide for the pull out pantry. This went well too except when I finished when you attempted to slide the pantry closed the last 6 inches were real stiff. I will go back and loosen the screws on the new slides a smidge and try the pantry again , I'm hoping this will let the new slide self adjust. If it does then pull the pantry off and tighten the screws.
Also did I mention it was raining? It has rained for the last seven days that I have been on vacation. Well last night as I was finishing up the pantry I noticed some water on the dinette! I wiped it up and just thought I brought it in with me as I was in and out a lot. NOT! Water was dripping from the fantastic fan. I raised up the front of trailer and stopped it for now. After lots of searching on the forum here's my plan. I ordered some 3m Extreme sealing tape 4412n for the fantastic fans, I will do both. I also ordered two tubes of alpha systems 1021 Rv sealant to do the antenna and bath fan. That should hold me over as the long seams and awning seam look ok to me. I will not do the sky light as I want to replace with a maximum soon.
That's my plan for now what do you think?

Upon closer inspection, appears the screws that hold the hinges together came out ?
I counter sunk the head in just a bit more and torqued the screws in. Seems to be fine - for now. Thinking I should have put some locktite on it...
Frankly not sure why there are screws holding those parts together.

Floyd,
Sound like you got a pretty good grip on things. Make sure you check the fan body for cracks. They are prone to that.

Good evening, Fred.
I'm not completely sure what you are describing, but, I suspect you are talking about the machine screws that hold together the two primary parts of the "Euro" hinges. If that's it, then those screws allow for much of the "in" and "out" adjustment of the doors.

Thanks GMFL, When I went up on top this am I didn't notice any cracks but I will look closer when I start the prep. I think these haven't been touched since they were installed, not a lot of sealant to clean up. I got a dehumidifier in the trailer for the night as it seems damp inside. I'm hoping its mostly from me going in and our for the last several days while it's been raining.
On another note I loosened the new slide on the pantry and it did not help. The last six inches or so is real tight. Got any ideas to try. Maybe it will loosen up in time?
