Congrats on getting the WT home and the mostly uneventful rescue. I can tell you from experience, to photograph everything and take 10 times as many pictures as you think you'll need or want. The day I brought home my TW, I took over 100 pictures and it wasn't near enough.

While you're at it, post some of them.

He/She is in beautiful shape!! An extraordinary find that needed to be saved. Would you care to share what you paid for it?

Personally, I never tell what I pay for a trailer. It is rude IMO to ask. The owner has already "said" it was a great deal. I am just glad to see it here on the FORUMS where we can all enjoy it. Off my soapbox now !!

Is the bed really just a twin or is it a gaucho?

So "What did you pay again?......."

All I wanted to really know was did you feel like you got a good deal or did the guy know what he had....Didn't mean to be RUDE.

It's all good...

No problem on the $$ questions; we're not offended! We feel that we got a really good deal even if it wasn't something rare, but because it is so rare, we got a SCREAMING deal!!

Without giving it completely away, it was a little more than our '67 Safari and quite a bit less than our '71 Sovereign

Forgot to reply to this earlier, but that's a sweet looking machine!! We had a '65 a couple years ago in need of restoration that we sold (darn...).

More Pics

It was a rainy day today, so good for taking some more pics in the trailer. We found some of the leaks, mainly from windows that we suspected. But the whole thing will be a shell-off restoration anyway, so we're not too dismayed. As promised, here are some more pics:

View towards the back:

Front shelf; here's where a leak is and has destroyed this:

Original lights are still on the ceiling:

Door under fridge space; here's some more wood to be replaced:

Original table and chair (we believe):

Lights over the curbside twin towards the back that match the lights on either side of the front couch (I love these!!):

The sink and counter top are in AMAZING shape; note that the counter matches that in the bathroom as well as the wall of the shower. Same is true for a pull-out cutting board in the kitchen:

I also love the original light in the bathroom. Again, beautiful condition for being around 50 years!

And finally the door handle; all original. Doesn't look like it's ever been tampered:

We're simply amazed at how much is original on this thing!!
