Question sizes

How is the size determined? Is it from back bumper to hitch or rear curve to front curve of coach?

We have not seen anyone posting another 1973 23 ft. Safari and are wondering if we have the wrong length.

Or is anyone available to dicipher our serial number?

Size is usually determined by measuring from the front of the tongue to the rear bumper. Keep in mind that many late model Airstreams measure longer than their "size".

You can send it, or try yourself: (for 1969-80)

model / length / floor plan / year / plant / serial #

Inter / * * / bath location /__ *__ /__ *__ / ****
Exce./_______/ B,A,T,D /____/ J,S,C
L.Yatch

(cannot format that thing right. Hope it's clear)
