Shower door fix

I too had a problem with the shower door being too low, thus tearing the seal off the door bottom.
I bought a 3/8" nylon bushing at the hardware department.
I inserted it under the hinge end of the door. I used a self tapping screw to hold it in place.
Attached is a sidewise pic

Thanks

I might have to do that also as I need to replace the seal. Did you need to remove the door to do that or does the bushing just rest under the door? I do not get how you installed the bushing. Thanks

Lsbrodsky, the vinyl seal under the door is really easy to replace.

Pull the old away from the bottom of the door and squeeze insert the new, then trim to fit.

Toward the hinge side, note a small sliver of vinyl bead has been shaved away to ensure a better fit.

I wanted to know how DMotwell installed the bushing in case that was the root cause of my seal failure, but thanks.

I left the door on. I just raised the door up and inserted the vinyl bushing.
I installed the self tapping screw simply to hold the bushing in place.
After this was done I inserted the vinyl seal.

Send a message via Skype™ to johnf
The pins at the top and bottom of the door screw out. Screw out top, lift door, insert nylon bushing, replace door and upper pin.
