Refrigerator condensation

We have a 2017 25’ Rear Queen Flying Cloud. Frig takes a while to cool down, but my real question is that we get a lot of water (assuming condensation) in the bottom of frig. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone have a solution or is this something we have to live with?

Yes. Look at tray, you will notice when you pull it out that it has a pipe that goes into the hole. I installed an oring on the tube, get a thick one. That is a little smaller than the hole. Push in. Presto.

use a small circulation fan

it is a must if you are in a high humidity area

these fans make our fridge a more consistent temp and reduces frost build up

cheap and easy to make

If your AS isn’t level condensation may not drain properly. Also the tray ‘spout’ could be too short. We solved this issue by attaching a short piece of tubing and directing it down the outlet hole.

Thanks! Sounds like this might be a good solution.

We had the same issue. Just added a short length of clear vinyl tubing to the snout on the condensate drain tray to ensure the water goes all the way out to the tube in the wall to the outside. Does anyone have any suggestions what to do with the remaining 24’9” of tubing? Actually, I split three or four feet to make gaskets for the bottoms of the propane tanks to prevent metal on metal contact, but I still have quite a bit left .... handy stuff, annoying to schlep around. Wait, and to pad the picture wire they used to stop the outside hatch door from opening too far - it was cutting into the rubber gasket.

GMFL & waninae39, what did you splice the wiring for the fans into.
