Rare Airstream sighting
While parking at the local Sam's Club today, we saw an older Airstream parked over by the tire bays. Kinda beat up, but serviceable. Two axles, about 24'-26'. The data plate said "Custom" and the serial number started 06. Talked to the owner as he as leaving, said it was a 1956.

Looking it up tonight, apparently there were only 10 "Customs" built between 1955 and 1959, with different, high-end interior layouts. Wonder if the guy knows what he has? Wish I had taken a photo of it and asked for a peek inside!

Yeah..we wish you had gotten some pics too! Sounds like an interesting trailer.
