Walbernize
We were told by the PO to use the product Walbernize and they gave us their unopened bottle. I don't have any advice on how to make it easier. We're newbies at this. It will warm up soon and we'll get the hose out and do the spring wash and wax.

It sounds like you want to protect it more than polish it. I think any good quality automotive wax every 3-4 months or so does just fine. Griot's Garage, an online store that I have purchased automotive products from for many years now for prepping show cars, has a product called Paint Seal that is supposed to last a year. I haven't tried it but I have high regard for their products.
I just finished washing and waxing my 25 footer. Took maybe a couple of hours - I really enjoy it.

All of the Griot's products are available at the Advance Auto Parts store here.
The sealer is $17.99 at Advance.
I am pretty impressed with the Advance store here. It has saved my neck many times having things that other stores don't or for less money.

Yes, you are right...I do want to protect it more than polish it! It's new and looks great - I just want to keep it that way! Thanks!

Good question, I'm assuming by polish we are talking about a mirror shine. if so. then you need to remover the clear coat first.

I'm pretty sure RG was looking for wax recommendations to help protect her new trailer. Certainly easy to mis-interpret post wording sometimes.

On a vintage trailer, yes.
On a new trailer, protecting/waxing the clearcoat.

Update! My husband and I washed and waxed the new Airstream and we just used carnauba. It worked great and my True Love sure looks shiny and pretty! Thank you all. I did just need to wax - now polish...I'm a girl, what can I say!

For what it's worth, I used Carnauba wax on brand new trailer. I've since tried a Polymer polish/protectant. Liquid Glass was one recommended here and RejeX (made by Corrosion X). The last polish to the 30 FC was the Liquid Glass and I will say it seems to be lasting much longer than the Carnauba. Tried the RejeX on TV, a black 2500 Chevy and it looks great also. Seems to be lasting well there too.

I have recommended Liquid Glass in the past - easy on, easy off and really lasts. Excellent product.

We just applied the liquid glass, super easy to use easy to polish off, looks great. Much prefer the product to walbernize we used last year. It seems to go further than walbernize as well.
