Nokian Rotiva LT235/75R 15 LRE 116/113S Single Axel Air Pressure

These are installed on my 1960 Tradewind which weighs 4k to 4.5k lbs. Sidewall max pressure is 80psi. Discount tire says to run them at 80psi. Nokian customer service says they don’t know proper pressure but 80psi is too high.

Running at 80psi is like running on steel and is beating this wonderful old machine up.

I typically pull between 60-65 mph.

Any single axel Rotiva owners have guidance on proper pressure?

Thanks
Richard

Surprising that Nokian doesn’t have Load/inflation tables similar to what Goodyear has for their Endurance tires.

Found this link to a generic inflation chart:

http://www.yournexttire.com/trailer-...flation-chart/

TIRE INFLATION EQUATION:

Tire Weight / Tire Pressure = Load Capacity Pounds per PSI

“If the customer runs 65 psi in a 10 ply tire, his capacity is now able to carry 2,507 per tire.”

65psi looks like the correct pressure to me.
