I'm impressed with you guys! I think you are ready to join the CSI team!

I have the info from the trailer..

Sovereign Land Yacht...

Here are the numbers from the unit.. Not sure which is with but maybe the sleuths here can crack the code.

H-192 GM

I31 A9J 1425

My dad went to look at it and said it has two twin bets in the back that were seperated by a little night stand. So that means that Wahoonc wins the bonus prize.

Thanks for all o' your help.

I = International Trim Level (this was the up level trim)
31 = 31' Sovereign
A = Center Bath Twin
9 = 1979
J = Manufactured in Jackson Center, Ohio
1425 = Serial #, possibly the 1425th 1979 Airstream produced?

I'm not sure what "H-192 GM" stands for.

So . . .

You have a 1979 Sovereign 31' International with Rear Twin Beds and Center Bath. I still think it has a streetside goucho in front, but this is not documented in the VIN #.

Very cool! This is probably the coolest and most helpful forum that I've found.

Thanks for taking time to help a newbie.

Now I'll head off to another section to look for info on the Waste system.. The fun part of owning an Airstream.

Thanks again~
