Nameplate Question.

Hi gang! I recently purchased a 34 foot 1993 Airstream Classic Limited. As I was going through the pictures of it I noticed that the front and rear AIRSTREAM nameplate is in the "script" design rather that the "block" lettering that I would have expected for this year and model.

My first step was to check the pics in the forums and also the build date on the serial tag which was 05/1993. Any thoughts out there on this? I thought the "script" lettering was from the 80's models? My only thought is that someone liked that better than the "block" lettering and made a change at some point.

Any thoughts on this out there? Thanks...

John, the script lettering was used from about 1983 till about 1994, give or take a year. It was not on all Airstreams of that era, either.
