Looking for advice from the masses

I want to second what Dave and Janet posted regarding the 26U. Very few people are aware that that model even exsists since it is relatively new. It has the most windows of any airstream. Plus it has the most storage of any airstream and the only airstream model to have such a large front lounge area. We also feel that having the shower in with the sink and toilet is a real plus since it’s so nice to be able to step out of the shower and dry off without having to go across the hallway to do such. Also, the gray and black dump valves are located in front of the twin XL which gives you some extra clearance so you don’t damage the valves from going up a steep incline. The other airstreams have the dump valves located towards the rear of the trailer. We have the twin bed version of the 26U because of the ease in which it is to get dressed plus it has more overhead storage been does the queen bed version of the 26 and it has more outside storage than the queen bed version as well. All things considered we could not find a better all-around model than the 26. We had looked at them all with much intensity over the last six months. I’m certain this model will become more popular once more people know that it is available. We pull ours with a F150 with the 3.5 L eco-boost and it does a wonderful job with no concerns whatsoever. Good luck in your search and it’s even fun- just take your time.

As a follow-up to my post I should mention that it is very hard to find a 26 in stock since it is a relatively uncommon model at this point in time. We learned the most initially from watching YouTube videos of the 26. One of the most comprehensive YouTube videos is done by Colonial RV and there’s also the dealer in Ohio that has done a great video comparing the 26th to the 28 in which he shows that the 26 has more storage & has the all-in-one combined bathroom shower area along with an exceptional front lounge.
