Delivery!

Finally! We took delivery of our ‘18 International Signature 30 at Airstream of Scottsdale yesterday.

I must say that they are a pretty good bunch there. Lynn in the finance office was great.

Jonathan the service manager was terrific! He did an outstanding PDI prior to our arrival. He then conducted our walk through. A bit over 2 1/2 hrs. Then we took it out for the hook-up.

Jonathan is a wealth of RV knowledge and a true expert on the Airstream line.

We towed or baby home from Scottsdale to Prescott with no issues at all. TV is a ‘17 Ram 3500 dually. Cummins, 4:10, 4x4 aisin. Hitch is a class 7 Air-Safe.

A big thank you to all the nice folks on these forums. I’ve been lurking here for a few years. I learned SO MUCH for all your experiences.
It really helped in this overall process.

We ordered from the factory and it took 9 weeks. One week was extra as we ordered the wheels be swapped with the 16” Classic wheels and Michelin LTX. That is done after it’s built at the service center and adds a few days.

A few interesting tif-bits from our visit yesterday. The RV world is truly booming. A/S of Scottsdale just ordered 180 units to be delivered over the next year. My wife counted at least 12 “Sold” in addition to ours in the shop.

We are very “Happy Glampers!”Click image for larger version

Nice! Glad to hear your experience in Scottsdale was pleasant - certainly a nice big showroom there. Hope to see you out on the road - Prescott is a great place but we’ve yet to tow the AS there.

Safe travels and enjoy.

Nightmare,

Hope the new trailer is still working well and you are enjoying it!

I am NOT wishing away the camping season, but the Army/Navy game makes December a little more tolerable. Truly, the only football game I will schedule around.

This next tag might not work for you, either!

Stay safe,

Ken
