I worked on cars for 32 years and never referred to curb side or street side it is right or left. If you are in a car, truck, motorhome or trailer for that matter looking forward right is the curb side and left is the street side, so why not just use right and left as long as you don't get your right hand mixed up with the left you will be ok.

curbside and streetside
When I am driving with a particular friend of mine I don't know which is the driver side and which is the passenger side!!!! But I've only been driving 50 years.

Curb or Street
I agree with the simplification to use left or right.
Wherever my wife sits is the DRIVERS SIDE!

I agree with Massey Ferguson. The instructions for the turn signals don't say "streetside blinker", they say "left blinker".

Hi, I think some of you are forgetting that all this curb side / street side, is trailer lingo.

Pitching in ..That's what we say.. but I'll bet you that's an expression from the USA..but..I don't know what is from where anymore..Vinnie he speaky Engrish..and use Engrish words..and I wonder ..did he get that from yours truly or vice versa..thats Latin by the way.. i'm googling pitching in..ah..thought so..baseball and all that..
My lead is short and tight..I don't stray far..i've restricted myself..there's enough stuff and nonsense on my thread without spreading it with a trowell..I live near Trowell by the way..A village down the road with a 30mph restriction..In some villages we have 40 mph dropping to 35 then to 30..which is annoying..I got nicked doing 36 in a 30 when I thought it was 35..
I'm floating along in my Airstream..not really..i'm working and listening to LatinyAustrianyVioliny
which is making me imagine i'm in a far better place If I close my eyes I'm there..arm dangling..air rushing through my twiddly fingers..green fields..oh well.. back to reality..Toodiloos xx
