Cold weather camping and traveling

Howdy,

Wondering if anyone could provide advice for cold weather traveling and camping (down ~ -10F). My concerns are traveling with waste or potable water in tanks (added that I don't believe my furnace is capable of running while driving and it is almost an hour from boon docking to dump station). Also, as long as I have the furnace on is it safe to assume my inside water system is safe (pump, pipes, valves, etc.)? If not, any advice as how to protect?

My other option is just to winterize, get a hotel, and wait for spring

Thanks,
Josh

Ten below. I wouldn't even consider putting water in or using the plumbing system but we have traveled and slept in our various campers at similar temps.

I have camped in sub-freezing temps with no water- nothing in holding tanks, nothing in water lines- parked near the bath house and did all my business there- restroom, showers, brushing teeth-
That won't work for boondocking, only works in a campground.

Yes, and it most areas of the country that get that cold, the commercial campgrounds are not even open in the winter.

Camping in sub freezing temps only happens during Thanksgiving or Christmas break.
