Calmark: Sunbrella cover

I realize that most comments on covering up an airstream is "don't do it." I'm having a hard time leaving my 23fb flying cloud parked outside alongside my garage out in the elements. Calmark is a company that makes custom covers out of sunbrella fabric. We have had experience with their covers for a keystone camper and it worked well. Was pricey but worth it. So my question is has anyone used this company and covered an airstream with their covers? This would be our only option for protection since the area does not allow room for construction of a roof, metal cover etc. Any thoughts?

Thumbs down Undercover....

Exactly what element are you worried about?

Don't worry....don't cover.

So when is this..."old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

If you feel you HAVE to cover it, blow the budget and build a garage, or enlarge your current one, or add a lean-to onto the side of the garage, or rent covered storage, but fabric directly on an Airstream roof - you'll hate the result.

I remember a thread where a member said he was going to have his stretch wrapped - they way they do boats - but I don't recall him ever reporting back with how it worked.

Today is a gift, that's why they call it the present.
