Boy, I knew Airstreams were expensive but ...

I saw that Airstream Northwest just sold this 2015 27FB Serenity for $978,466.00.

Those 2015 models just keep going up in price!

That was the clearance price. You should see what regular retail is on it...

Some of that was shipping costs.

That's the price you pay for one that won't leak

When did Airstream start offering that option?

That figure includes a factory technician to follow you around the country fixing problems and sealing leaks for the first year of ownership.

Wow, the Idaho sales tax on that rig would be more than I paid the same dealer for my FC 20' last year! Glad I got mine then.

I actually talked to these guys at the Tacoma RV show today. I was inquiring about getting the Eddie Bauer hatch on an International Signature. They said it couldn't be ordered that way, but wanted me to check out Ultimate Airstreams (Airstream Customization), which is a guess another part of the company doing customizations.

His last statement was "If you have the money, we'll even put wings on them."

Maybe this one had Warp Drive?

I Think they followed Apple's lead and made a special "gold version".

They look fantastic but are hell on tires.

Wow, we got a screaming deal from them on our 2015 ... but we didn't have to pay air freight from OH to WA.

The Eddie Bauer is an International ...limited edition ... with a few more upgrades...just not many out there!

I did get an announcement from AS Adv NW that they now have a luxury model with two regular doors priced in the high 90s ...

RVDreamer- I got my 2014 Serenity there (Airstreams NW is A great dealership) but I didn't realize I got a bargain price in comparison. I do like the heat and air venting on the 2015 so much better...but not $900,000 worth.

We had a 1960 Shasta 13' with the famous Shasta Wings. This post gave me an idea, I might make a set of wings for the FC 20'. Wouldn't that be cool? And Retro. Now, how to hold them on when you wanted to see them.... hmmmm, magnets won't work.
