Awning Light Storage Ideas?

So does anyone have any nifty ideas on how to store their awning lights you clip and hang from the awning? (not the LED strip underneath that the 2016+ have) We bought some "bistro" lights which are simply bulbs on a strand and I can't think of any great ways to store these between each campsite setup... I know they make H shaped extension cord holders, but those won't really protect the bulbs from breaking.

I figured I can't be the first one to ponder this...

Your ideas are greatly appreciated!

Josh

We store ours in the smaller plastic bins...the ones that are larger than shoe size. Guess it depends on how awning is and how many strings you are trying to store. I keep the clips on when storing the lights.

We used a piece of cardboard, about 8" x 16", with 2" cuts along the sides. We slide the cord right next to the bulb into the slits. Then we store the cardboard in a plastic bin under the gaucho. This keeps the bulbs from hitting each other and tangled. Works for us. Good luck.

Patio Light Storage

We store ours in a Vintage Wicker Picnic Basket. We haven't broke a bulb yet.

I saw a fellow camper fashion something out of two egg cartons (18 each) putting them back to back and the lids had slots for the cording to loop thru.

Now *that* is a good idea.
