Airstream Factory Curtains Price

So we purchased a 2012 International Serenity 27FB Queen and were interested in the price to replace both the forward and rearward wraparound curtains with the new 2017 versions with the blackout material.

We got a quote at $2600 for both the front and back. Looks like we will be making our own for that price.

Just posting this as an FYI to others who might be interested in the same upgrade...

Twenty-six hundred bucks for curtains? That's simply insane! We purchased the fabric and hardware from Airstream, the lining from JoAnn's Fabric and had a local shop make the curtains for our 2014 23D (all the windows that the factory didn't 'curtain'). Turned out perfect and a bargain, too! I think out total outlay for five panels (for three window areas) was around $300. And, of course, the curtains match perfectly the curtains Airstream installed on the front, panorama, windows.

Funny
We just got a similar quote on replacements for our 16' International curtains as our Scottish Terrier's like sitting on the table when we are not in the camper and the curtains were dirty.
Thankfully they cleaned up nicely..

Airstream Factory Curtains Price

We had ours done at a local custom airstream uplifter... very happy with the result... it was a lot less than $2600 and we got a customized pattern out of it

Don't know where you got your price, but try this lady. She's very nice and does a beautiful job. For us, they are actually better quality and fit than factory.

We had ours redone from AZBambi.com. They are wonderful, keep cold and sunlight out. Perfect fit in our 25' AS. We couldn't be happier with them.

we got rid of the curtains, hardware and stuff on top and all. More room especially in back bedroom, less stuff to mess with and about 30 lbs out the door.

The PO had installed nice metal mini blinds that work well..

I had a price for new drapes in the front panoramic. The price was ridiculous. I have just finished the fourth set, two for the front and two for the back panoramic windows, so I can change for the seasons. Vintage Trailer Supply has the little slide & elastic fittings for the rails (25 per bag, 2 bags per set of drapes). It only took a little over three yards per set making sure they are properly matched. My drapes and very full so they gather when they are closed. They turned out looking professional and I get lots of compliments.

Don't know if they're still in business, but here's a link to a drapery site: They state: "Our only business is the manufacture of draperies for Airstreams, Argosys and other track systems."

I had to have one replaced that had a 2 inch slit on the fold at the top. It cost $1695 but luckily it was under warrantee.
