30 FB for 2009?

I've heard rumors. Anything to a 30 FB layout in 2009? I've held out with my 25 FB, but the ashtrays are full and temptation is calling my name!

Colonial Has One!

Hi there, Paula,

I was just looking at Colonial Airstream's site and noticed that they have a 30' FB on their lot. It is a beauty! Has a built in microwave and a king bed. OMG!

I saw that you are unable to make this springs Rivette rally in Ohio. I too, am unable to make it. It sounds as if it is going to be a nice rally. It is just a little early for me. Besides, since you are unable to go, I would not have a personal escort. Hopefully we can ALL get together at another rally soon. It was very special!!!

I like the 30FB a lot, but I guess we'll have to stick with Lucy.

It looks like the king bed takes up all the room to the sides of the bed which we like to have. Tough to get out in the middle of the night and tough to make the bed, IMHO. And VERY pricey

It is nice, but I guess you had better be very skinny to get around the edges of that bed or just take a running leap from the hallway to get into bed .

Yikes!

Are they doing it with an optional QUEEN - and how about as a CCD?

Sorry the classic just doesn't float my boat. I think I really hate the dark plumbing fixtures and door handles.

Love the king size bed.

If they have it in a Safari LS SE I'll probably get one as soon as I wear out the one I have.

Goin,

Somehow I can't see you "wearing out" your Safari, and with a King, we will never see Mrs Goin!

As for the 30FB, hopefully a Safari or CCD would be priced closer to the market...kinda

time

I see you've noticed that Mrs. Goin does not exactly "Welcome the morning."

But give her credit. She lets me drag her out camping a couple times a month.

I wonder what the price will be for the Safari?

Agitate please!

I got an email from the Bottacelli's at Colonial saying that at present Airstream has no plans of making the International or Safari in any length beyond 28 ft, but that they'd put my request to Airstream at the dealer meeting to suggest new ideas.

If they also heard the same thing from a few owners? I'm e-mailing A/S. If you'd be interested, please do the same.

That news probably just saved a bunch of people a boatload of money.
