2018 Classic 33 Twin
Due to a change in family circumstances I am looking to sell my newly acquired 2018 Classic 33 Twin. We have only used the unit twice. Interested to know what price I should advertise it for and the best way to sell it.
Thank you,
Doug C

A dealer in FL quoted me a price of $120K to order a new 2018 Classic 33. Given this price quote for a new one, a used one would likely sell for less.

Sometimes gently used with the bugs worked out is a bit more or same than the 4-hr stop, drop, and roll you out the door price. Got bugs?

Thanks James, had a few bugs all worked out now. The new boards from Firefly sorted out the A/Cs and water heater. I have a number of extras to include within the sale (tropic room, HD towing hitch, weight distribution and sway controls) so $120 is probably a good starting price.

$120 for a 33'? With extras and the bugs worked out. Well, if I didn't have one already I would be down to Florida immediately. I'll bet you sell quickly as the wait times are seemingly long and the 33's are popular. Good Luck!

It's a ZipDee outside enclosure that hangs from the awning. Essentially doubles the living area.

Hey Doug, if it were me that needed to sell a almost new Airstream I would think if you are about $20,000 too high. My reasoning is that although MSRP is around $136,00 most dealers are actually selling new ones for 20% off the sticker price and even though it has only been used 2 times it is still "used". So if you really need to unload it you are going to need to match what the dealers are offering and then some. So, although you will take a huge hit, you may have to drop that price way down.
This is a perfect example of why buying new isn't always a good thing to do. The very fact of driving it off the lot will cause it to deprecate significantly. I am very sorry to hear about a change in circumstances that is leading you to sell the Airstream but honestly I think you are going to need to lower the price by $20,000.

Whoops, my bad. Sorry. I didn't look at what the new 33's were listening for. I stand corrected. $120,000 would seem reasonable.
Again, very sorry.
