Wanted: Tow Vehicle

I am looking for a tow vehicle for our 31ft international.
I believe our best bet is a used suburban 3/4 ton 454cu engine.
At least thats what we've talked about the most.

I don't think the Suburban is going to do it for you. I own one, and it's not adequate transportstion for all the members of your family,as you mentioned.
Look for a full size van with a big engine and tow package. Ford E-350's with the V10 come to mind. I had a Dodge B-350 Maxivan before I bought the Suburban, and it's utilitarian value BY FAR exceeded that of the Suburban's. The Sub is a much nicer and hipper ( hip-hipper-hippest ?) daily driver, but it disappoints when it comes to real family needs. Just my observation....I owned both, and I tow a 25ft Airstream.
