I would recommend the Equal-I-Zer for 399.00 delivered to your door from RVWholesalers. Get their demo tape, it works as advertised. You will not need a money-back guarantee at that price.

I would recommend the reese High Perfromance Dual-Cam. The whole package is called the "Strait Line" hitch. I tow a Classic 25 with one in Texas gusty winds and it is rock solid under all conditions.
IMHO, the Hensley is overkill and not cost effective for the majority of trailers. The Equal-izer is OK, but is just another form of friction setup, regardless of the hype.

John, Just looked at the Reese site. I gather you use the one that bolts to the A-frame, not the U-bolt one?. We have a '04 25' Safari and wondering if the tanks, or box in between, posed any mounting problems.

Just my 2 cents on the Hitch question. I bought the new Reese Dual Cam and installed it myself. I personally think it works great. IMO for a 25' trailer with an appropriate Tow vehicle, you will be in great shape. I think for larger heavier trailers like the classic 30's and beyond, you should then consider the Hensley..Al

I doubt it. I think that your A-frame is essentially identical to my 2003 Classic. The area where the DC bolts is entirely free and clear of everything except that you need to be careful of possible wires inside the frame on the street side. I held the wires back with a piece of wood while I drilled.
