Talking Sooner or Later it was bound to happen!!!

Now that I've got your attention....and I could not find a better forum to post to. WE ARE NO LONGER AIRSTREAMLESS IN OHIO!!! Holy Moly! did it take some time to do this. I would like to thank this forum and all it's members for their valuable knowledge on what to look for and input into How to buy an Airstream 3 states away . I don't think we could have done this without this forum. THANK YOU, THANK YOU , THANK YOU we would also like to thank two very nice people, Ken and Dianne, for reluctantly selling us their Airstream. Now we can go Airstreaming!
I've save the best for last and attached a photo of our 77 Safari

Happy trails.
Dave & June

Beautiful unit. Dosen't look like there is a dent on it. Got pictures of the inside? Would you share with us how much it was? A ball park figure would be close enought.
Enjoy, enjoy enjoy!

1977 safari

I love your 77 Safari, I am looking for one similar to your. I am particually interested in the twin bed layout. Do you know what this is called, I've seen all kinds of layouts, but the twin beds are for us. If possible I would love to talk to you about you A/S search experience. Please call 513 200 4102.

Dave & June,

Your trailer looks great! Maybe you can mosey over to Moraine View State Park in a couple of weeks or come up to Mackinaw City in July. Great places to try her out!

Regards,

Jack

Thumbs up

I think you qualify for the vintage airstream club. Yes, there is a club. That looks like the prefect layout for a 23 footer. It's a rare find indeed and looks to be in great shape. Now you get to obsess over tires, airpressure, hitches, batteries, fans, water heaters, and black water with the rest of us. It's great fun and keeps you from going insane waiting for summer and streamin time. Which in here....

77 23' Safari

Blucloud,
Congratulations. We also have a 77 23' Safari. Ours has the single bed on the curbside with the wardrobe closets and drawers on the street side. We also have the pullout couch in front.
The 23' has been the perfect trailer for us because we do almost all our camping in the woods or desert and can get it in almost anywhere. In fact I think in all the time that we have had the trailer we have only camped at 3 places that had power or water. Our truck is almost as long as the trailer ( F350 Crew Cab Longbed) so if I can get the truck in there the trailer will fit.
Enjoy the trailer for many years to come.
