Airstream made very few motorhomes with the same silver skin as the trailers. This 28' one is in perfect condition. The previous owner spent over $30,000 to send it back to the factory for a complete body restoration (including new gas/electric refrigerator, microwave, and gas stove/oven), then installed a new, blocked and blueprinted chevy 454 engine. We have tweaked and tuned, adding state of the art tracking to the steering, an extra-heavy duty starter motor (originals tended to overheat), deluxe driver and passenger captains seats and a new exhaust system. The only problem you will have with this RV is avoiding all the near misses from drivers doing double-takes as they turn to stare at the airstream trailer with no car in front. I seem to find it impossible to attach a picture here, but will be happy to email them if you are interested (then maybe someone who isn't as hopeless will post the pictures for me.)
A bargain at $37,500.
