Project on eBay

I was browsing through eBay, when I stopped to look at this safari

1964 Airstream Safari 22 for Restoration

And was shocked to recognize it as one my husband and I passed on after looking at in person last year! I was looking for a project, but not THIS much of a project at the time. However, I'd have to say the eBay description is pretty accurate to what I remember. What we could see, anyway, because it was in a grassy area next to the owner's driveway covered in weeds and we could barely walk around it at the time. Either way, seeing it again, I'm so glad we didn't bite. I'll be interested to see how high the price goes. It's already beyond what I would have paid for it.

Who knows, maybe someone will bring it back to it's former glory.

Ebay project

If anyone is interested in parting it out, I'll take the bumper! ...actually I can't see the bumper very well in any of the photos...

..too much of a project for me!

Have a good one.

Stephanie,

When I saw that one I thought of your quest for a re-builder, but I got in trouble for forwarding them to you so I stopped

If you want me to keep my eyes open for you let me know.

My husband says you can just continue to NOT forward them to me, and that would be just fine with him

Between you and me, and occsional heads-up wouldn't hurt - just don't let him know I said it!
