Question Moving up! GT for sale?........ I think...?

Just recently purchased a 19ft Gt in the State of Wa with great interior set-up (Has side dinnette, I was told was rare) and some issues outside. The previous owner had replaced quite nicely a segment on the side of the trailer by the wheel well, only he did not use the original rivets.
At any rate, everything I was told works. Has new refrigerator, and is quite clean in the inside. Original wooden cabinetry in great shape, no soft spots on the trailer. Purchased for 6K.
Now I want to purchase a motorhome 1985 325 that is being sold out of state for 12k. Has 120k miles and needs attention to the interior, new carpert and some handy work,as someone lived in it for six months. Having read elsewhere that when this happens, the interior takes a beating, I am a bit leery.
What do you folks give as advice?
What kind of $ could I get for the GT?
Is the 325 worth the 12k?
Help. Any comments are appreciated.

Talking Seems to be a good deal!

If all systems work it is a great price!
Otherwise look for another moho that is
a bit more in cost, but less in pain.
At least make the drive to see in person.

Floor Plan

Hidalgo,

Nice floor plan on your GT. Would you mind telling us if the wheel well intrudes into the foot space below the dinette table? I'm thinking of doing something similar.

Talking Wheel Well.

The wheel well does indeed pertrude into the space under the flat table of the dinnette. Will send a pic if you like.

Wheel well

Thanks Hidalgo,

If you could post a picture, that would be helpful.

Since we're talking pictures...

I'd love to see more pics of people in their Airstreams, particularly multiple people.

I haven't done anything with our GT yet, and haven't even spent more than a minute or so inside it ever - but we're hoping to take another couple with us for long weekend trips, and it makes me wonder how much more room to devote to things like dinettes and beds.

Nothing can be saved in ours, so I may want to make things larger which will be used often (beds!) and skimp on others (ditch the tub, in lieu of a teak grate over a floor drain in the bath.)

Is it easy to fit 4 adults around those little dinettes, or are there elbows and knees everywhere?
