Looking for a small airstream in CO

Hi all,

I have just begun to search for an airstream. I have been reading the forums for several weeks and have already learned quite a bit. I am looking for a small one, 22ft or smaller, probably late '50s or '60s to renovate. I would like to find one with its inside parts present, even if they need to be replaced. I am not sure I would know where to put things in a gutted trailer. Hopefully it would be in Colorado (I am near Colorado Springs) or a state close by. The small ones seem to be harder to find, so I am expecting a long search.

Hi Kaye - welcome to the forums. You are right - the small ones are harder to find. Be prepared to drive some distance to find one you want and more importantly - be prepared to buy it on the spot. They don't stay on the market long unless there's something seriously wrong.
