I am not selling this trailer, but it's in my neighborhood. I am looking for a trailer to put a custom interior in. I went to check this one out because it's about 15 minutes from my house. On the outside it looks pretty good. It has AC, and a TV antenna. There's a large dent on the back right corner, basketball sized. There's a smaller dent on the front right, right on the bottom edge of the window. The window by the door is fogged. The exterior access panels are all there. The wheels have some surface rust, but I believe it had all four original hubcaps. The door looks like it was pried open at one time, and there is some damage right by the latch.
I was thinking it looked pretty good so I peeked inside and realized it was far too nice to gut and re-do. The interior was a little dirty, but mostly it was very nice and original. Original upholstery, probably original curtains falling off the tracks. Even the shag carpet looked pretty good. All the tambour doors seemed to be complete and every one I tried worked. The seller tells me the fridge doesn't work and he realizes that's an expensive fix, so I think they are willing to deal.
Apparently they are selling this for an elderly couple who need to pay for medical expenses. I think it's a deal for someone to fix up who wants a restored trailer. It's very original inside. There's a gas light by the door it looks like may have been added. They're asking $3000. Here's a link to the ad:

Only other thing is the guy said he had a hard time pulling it around the yard with his F150 - he thought it was too heavy for it to pull. Actually the weight should be about 4600# empty, so if his truck had that hard a time pulling it, I wonder if maybe the breaks need to be looked at. He said it's been stored for the last 4 years at least, and the current owners only used it once.
Either way, I'm going to pass on it and save my money for the next one that comes along, but I wanted to let anyone here who might be interested know about this one.
