WOW that is sharp! I really like the rope light in the toe kicks. I'll have to add that to the list of things to do on our Caravanner.

$15k sounds like a lot but I will tell you this. You will spend that much on any coach in reasonable starting conditions to bring it up to that condition. Not counting time I can guarantee there is more then that in that coach.

I'm in the middle of a restoration and I can tell you I will be very close to that dollar figure by the time I am done and we didn't pay anything for the coach. We inherited it. That is a bargin for a ready to go vintage unit that appears to need nothing.

The Caravanner has always been a little more family and boondoking orientated. For the size of the coach it has larger Reefer usualy fould in the larger units. Especially true for the 50's version. Better then average cabinette space.

You sir will regrette selling that coach.

Selling a Baby

It is always difficult to wave goodbye to a child your raised and sunk every bit of pride that you could muster.

Just like an Airstream,
But when you get that call home and the new owners praise you on your product, it is all worth it and you will find yourself adopting a new child that is a little rough around the edges and clean it up and treat as though you born it.

This is a culture not just a hobby,

Thumbs up Cogratulations

A great tale of happiness. My hat is off to the buyer and the seller.
I wish I was the one hooking up to that unit.

Actioncraft, you are a very lucky person and you have something that you will spend many hours conversing with awestruck passerbyers and you will find yourself torn between the time you spend talking to complete strangers and your spouse. This unit is the model that all of us Airstream owners aspire to have. Even if owners have a Skydecker or 2004 top of the line AS, they will always wish that they had this unit as there own.

Terry, you deserve this, I know it is tough to part comapny with this unit. I cannot help but think Jenell was the driving force behind the sell. She was probably tired of all of the time you spend speaking to strangers about the BIG SHINY THING.

Talking

I can't wait to pick up our new toy. Thanks for doing all of the hard work. I look forward to meeting you and others on the road. Rest assured this Airstream has found a good home. Now how do I buy your name (Bigshinything)? Just kidding!
