I spotted this old coach today in an an abandoned, overgrown area which is cluttered with other long forgotten travel trailers and other junk. I know where the owner of the yard lives but he was not at home.
I'm guessing that it's an old 26' Cruiser based on other photos I've looked at. My best guess at this point is maybe a '54. I snapped a pic of the streetside but it didn't turn out.
Several windows are broken and boarded up. The chain link fence prohibited closer inspection. I can only imagine that the interior is in bad shape.
I have no interest in buying it but just hate to see an old AS rotting away.
I'll pursue more info and pics if anyone has interest. I actually spotted this unit while taking a backroad shortcut to an RV supply store. Let me know if interested. Who knows, could be a diamond in the rough.

Not interested myself, but it looks intriguing! That's so exciting, seeing it peering out at you from the woods, all rare... like a, a goose that lays golden eggs... yeah, yeah... a goose which was, uh, banished to the woods.
I swear this old gal winked at me. I can pass by many things but this orphan looked so lonely, so in need of a home, I just had to ask.
I think I saw her face on a milk carton.

I got rained out of working on the Caravel today and my curiosity got the better of me, so I went back to check on this trailer again.
The owner was home and said the trailer is gutted but has a solid floor and is in towable condition. Was last used as an office.
He was quite elderly and not up to going out in the rain to let me look at it.
The old boy was not naive about the value of old AS's. He wants $1,000 firm. He says he has the title.
The trailer is near Mt. Morris, Michigan.
If anyone wants his name and phone #, PM me.
