Airstreams for sale in Tampa Bay

I just thought I would cut and paste these from our local paper. All the media attention about Airstreams has really pushed the prices up on 70's units. A year ago, these would all have been for sale from $2,000 to $3,500. Does this mean that my trailer is appreciating? I sure appreciate it!

If anyone wants me to take a look at these for them, let me know. I have time on my hands. Downsized in the software industry. Oh well. More time to work on my trailer!

27'AIRSTREAM 1974, stove, refrigerator, heat/ac, Great cond. $6,500. (352) 596-7655

31' 1982 Airstream Int'l, all opt, exc cond, like new in/out, rear island bed, elec jack, sleeps 4, $6800 obo 813-967-3062

How deep of water are they in? How much does it cost to salvage one? I'd think the salt water would've pretty much trashed everything. How'd they get out in the bay in the first place?

These units are air tight, and as such, really float well. I think that is why they are also called yachts. Last time I looked, they were docked off of a great waterside night spot where all the girls in bikinis hang out.

I'll bet with your negotiating skills you could get them to tow it to your house for nothing. Tug boats are from what I hear, expensive to rent. Sounds like a great deal to me.

One of the units even had a name. It was called "The Calypso." I think Jacques son owned it.

Check it out!

Don't need no tug boat. Had Can-I'm Marine set up my 15' Boston Whaler with a Hensrey tow yoke and install bigger backing plates on the stern eyes.
