'66 Safari 22ft. all original

Am seriously considering having to sell my "new" 66 Safari. Does anyone out there know a good "range" to ask for it? Will be putting it up on Ebay as a starter probably.

It is all original and I've redone the window/door gaskets, has new tires and bearings packed. Single axle which is a true blessing I think. It also has the twin bunk beds in it and I've got all new foam for the cushions, just not the fabric. It is still quite shiney and has the clear coat that still repels water. Everything works but the AC and no leaks that I know of anywhere.

I really hate to have to think of this, but family comes first and I can always buy another one down the road.

Thanks all,
Stellablu - really Blue now......

Do a search on Ebay using the 'advanced' feature and click on 'completed items'.
That will give you any sold in 60 days.
My guess is that you'll find them go for $4000 - $7000K , depending on skin and how well you photo it. Spend a little extra and give alot of good pics. Expect to die a 1000 deaths when it doesn't get over $ 2500 - but the last minute snipers will kick in and you'll get fair market.
Unfortunately -at the rate they're going up in popularity it will cost you way more when you want back in !!
Hang on to her if you can !!

If you gotta sell....

You may want to read through this Price vs Condition guideline...

Thanks all. I'll go check the Ebay thing out and I'm also going to post it on Airstream.net

I do have pictures but have somewhere close to 8 or 9 discs so have to weed through them to get the "good" ones.

I'm really trying to figure a way to keep her and hoping things will change drastically in the next two months or so. Going to put her in winter storage for now.

Will keep you all posted. By the way, this forum is the best I've found for advice and such!
