1998 34' Tri-axle Front Kitchen @ Ace Fogdall
I was in Cedar Falls IA for a few minutes on Wednesday to pick up a part for our behemoth. Ace Fogdall has a 1998 34' Excella front-kitchen, rear island queen model for sale. I couldn't believe it was almost six years old, it looks showroom new! They're asking $34,950.
For anyone looking for this particular (and pretty rare) model, this one is definately worth looking at! They have some not-so-spectacular photos of it at:

Front kitchen, huh?,
I think those were the all-time winner of tongue weight, what are they, something like 1200 lbs?

I happen to have a brochure from that year so I looked it up:
34FK
GVWR: 9,500
Hitch weight: 900
Of course, that hitch weight is for an unloaded trailer .. and a bit light if one should be shooting for an optimal 11% of GVWR.
So if you maxed out the GVWR and aimed for 11% .. you max hitch weight should be 1,045 pounds.
I always thought the Front Kitchen would be really neat .. until I realized that all the light from the front wrap-around windows would be blocked out.
Nice galley though .. and I like the lounge and entertainment center arrangement ... but not the open bath. The floorplan in the brochure shows a door there .. did they remove it?
Also .. the closed cabinet to the right of the john in Picture 4 is a closet for a washer and dryer. Also seen to the right in Picture 3.

Greetings, Pppppporky!
I looked the trailer over well, and noted (from the inside) that the front window was the single, but failed to notice the wrap-around rock guards as tho the window were there 'till I looked at the photos! And the front is definately darker than the front living room models like mine.
Ours has the open bath as well, with the shower located where the washer/dryer cabinet is in this one. The shower in this one is across the hall from the commode where we have triple closet doors. I believe that door to the commode was omitted. We have the similar open bath in ours, and the commode has been raised and actually turned out toward the hallway about 30 degrees. Truly, it makes for a much more 'comfortable' bathroom. The missing door isn't a problem as there are pocket doors in ours and in this '98FK that close the hallway off. It also makes it much easier and roomier for dressing.
