1994 36' Classic MH ebay
1994 Airstream 36' Classic MH
The front looks rough for 75,000 miles.
The seller either can't spell or was rushed.
You always wonder when the REALLY stress AS-IS............

I wonder......
1) Did a trip to Alaska ding up the front or
2) Accident and shody repairs?
The "A I R S T R E A M" is also missing from the front.

I've always wondered when sellers post something like that on ebay and know it's going to be exposed to millions of people that they could go to the trouble to get a someone to help them with the spelling as it only makes them look like they are in grade school and probably don't get many bids for that reason alone. I'm by no means the best speller in the world and have to ask the wife sometimes.... just my opinion.

On the other hand.....
This unit has been on e-bay for quite a while now.
Perhaps the seller will be motivated to let it go for the 25 grand.
Depending on true condition, it may be a diamond in the rough at that price.
Sure can't tell from the one frontal picture of the exterior, though.

I"m pretty sure this one is on a dealer's lot in CO. I called them about it almost a year ago when I was looking for one. Ended up with my 345. The dealership could not tell me much about it.
Man I would love a 360. A bullet train for the highways of America!

Some EBAY ads are really put together poorly. I have sold a number of items for better prices than I expected by writing a better ad, and using a decent photo.
The 280 on there now has photos with the a/c cover laying in the bedroom. Not a big deal, but it sure doesn't present the image you would want to get 20,000 plus for it.
Oh yeah I just noticed that the 280 is listed under "parts cars" and not Motorhomes. Yikes

A Bullet Train was my first thought also! The EFI 454 and OD transmission are the big advantages over the 345's. I think the 36's also have more storage underneath.
A well written ad makes all the difference on ebay (other than great feedback which this seller has only one). They should have posted if the AC's work, furnaces work, fridge works, etc, etc,.
A side photo would have also been nice.
Things like as-is and once you drive it off the lot it's your problem do not give anyone confidence that they are bidding on a nice item. If they fixed the problems (since they are an RV dealer) and advertised it correctly, they could get 40-45k for it.

No Bids!
One of the guys at work has been wanting an AS since I got mine. He contacted the sellers on this 360 after the auction and they said they would sell it cheap as is.
Seems like this is WAY under valued or something is seriously wrong with it. That front end scares me a little. There is a lot of damage for only 75K miles. I'd want to see many many more pics all the way around on this one before going any further.
I wonder why they didn't get any bids. The only other two I know of for sale right now are in FL and are priced at more than double this amount.
Anyone in CO that can drive by this one?

Better Pics
They have some better pics on their site. Still looks like some damage on the FR fender....ouch....and it almost looks like paint stripper took the sripes off of the hood????
The interior shots look pretty good.

My guess is that it has been to Alaska and back.
We have unit members that go almost every year and every year they end up getting a new Windshield on the truck.
Other members took their new 365 XL motorhome to Alaska and ended up getting 1 side of a new windshield too. The rocks are bad.
The hood issue could be simply someone using a solvent to clean the glue residue off from removing the AIRSTREAM off the hood. I am sure the striping can be had for a couple of dollars a foot.
Steven if you trade, you know you will have to much of your work over again...................
Trading up never has to make sense

trade in my baby?
I really do hope that someday I will own one of these beauties. I'd like to get mine done first and actually enjoy it for a minute instead. Then once I really know what I'm doing I'll buy a 360...besides at the rate I'm going with the 345 the 360 will be worth $25K in NADA by then!
But boy she is preeeettttyyyyy.. oohh look at the shiney skin and the big windows.....and the sloped nose......and the EFI....oooohhhhh.

Yes I do, unfortunately. But I do get to keep it at the house Sometimes I use it as my own personal cocoon for football games and such. That way I can yell as loud as I want without upsetting the dog or the wife. I do have a large tree that shades most of the rear and the dr side is against the house. Since it is in between the houses it does not get too sun baked
