The 26' unit is hard to find. If this unit has the rear seating/bed area, it would be more appealing. The seller was kinda vague on the rear bed status. Also, the pictures need to be brighter and show more of the inside. Just my thoughts....

Argosy Friends: Please feel free to contact me but here are two thoughts.
1. I am in the antiques business. We haggle some.
2. BUT please note that I am willing to give a significant guarantee with the "antique road car". The one at $7500 is "as is". And I will be glad to provide documentation to a serious potential buyer. I have previously restored Jags and Volvos and spared no expense on this great vehicle. . The initial work on brakes, power steering etc which are now virtually new was close to the amount of the ebay one. Then there was the rebuilt front end, and then.....

P.S. This unit has two beds in the back.

Dear Rachel,

You have invested more than an average Argosy owner would have for the year and model.....
The problem is, whether ebay, Airstream Forum, R.V. Trader Online people are looking for, and expecting to find, a deal....
My advice to you is to sell locally where someone driving by will see and wish to purchase based on a first hand look. You may spend time and money trying to market on the internet in vain. Check out Canada ebay for example for a price comparison to see what your Argosy would bring in a completed items search. The problem you face is, whenever you "invest" in any motor vehicle to keep, rarely do you realize a return......

Just some well earned advice....

I hope you get your price! It's always good for the market! The 280 on Ebay was at 1,500 yesterday, and not yet closed out. Best of luck on your sale. I for one have never seen a 26 footer in person.
