Hi SSTS12003,
Well I have a few Photos at the link above.
As you can see the exterior is in pretty good shape, there are no major damage places polishing would be stright foward. There are a few rock dents in the banana wrap up front and a very minor dent in the upper rear street side.
When i got the trailer the exposed frame steel had surface rust at the tongue and wheel wells and the rear street side at the rear compartment side had some scale around a sewer hose exit hole. I wire wheeled and painted all of this steel. The tires are ok but if long hauling is the norm new good year marathons all round would be in order and hubcaps would look nice. Also In my book if you were going to take the coach home spiff it up and go park it at the lake the axles will be fine, however contrary to what you might have read, for any 35ish year old coach that is to be towed regularly any distance a set of new axles, bearings, brakes is a NO BRAINER. This would be the easiest, big ticket item in the project but aside from frame integrity the MOST important.. The interior is really pretty nice; new carpet, 110v Full height fridge, no grocho only a removable desk in the front. It needs new curtains, mattresses, dishes ,etc.
