What's new for 2017!

Because I am working for a dealership that sells Airstreams, I was fortunate enough to be allowed at the 2017 Airstream dealer show where they announced what is the latest and greatest. Big changes for the Flying Cloud are stunning! I am so glad they are phasing out the yellow tint in the interior. Take a look!

Much more to come

Are the port hole windows gone on the interior bathroom doors?

Hey Steve! That is a good question. We got a 26U in the regular Flying Cloud color that last year didn't have a porthole and the 2017 did. Not sure what does and what doesn't. Has it finally stopped snowing in CO?

I am up at 9000 feet altitude this weekend and it has tried to snow a few times...warming up though.

Do you know if there is a separate switch somewhere to make the inverter circuit in the center cabinet over the dinette to work? I have checked fuses, read manuals etc....can't seem to get power to that particular outlet.

Also, should the TV work on 12 volt as well? The manual suggests that it does but I can't get that to work either. The inverter outlet by the TV does work.

It should work when you have the inverter on. I will check with my service department and get back to you on Tuesday.

The televisions in Rocinante require 110VAC. However, for each television Rocinante has an inverter-powered outlet right next to the regular one. Assuming we have enough battery juice and a working inverter, we can swap the TV plug to the inverter outlet, turn on the inverter, and watch TV.

See my reply in the 20-footer thread. Yes there is a separate switch to power the inverter, next to the control panel by the stove/sinks in our FC20's.

Who ever chose the music for the u-tube commercial of 2017 Airstreams, should keep it for elevators. There should be something more lively for camping.

Wink 2017 Interiors

I love the product but it is just a bit too beige for me....
Anyone wonder why we can't order Soft goods aka cushion materials in alternate colors?
The 2017 unit I just ordered has a 10 week lead time and 4 weeks until production starts. Cushions and Pillows should be subcontracted to a supplier, right?
Since the materials are standard colors, seems that being able to pick a Blue or Green should be easy.
I'm just saying.....

We cannot seem to open the video. It states that is it "private." Is there anyway to unlock it or see it at another address? We want to see the new color of the cabinets. Any suggestion as to where we can see them online? Have not found them on the Colonial youtube videos. Thanks y'all!

The link was working, but as you've noted it doesn't work now. Perhaps Patrick at Colonial Airstream is re-working the video. Might be worth subscribing to his YouTube channel for updates so you can see the new one when it's ready.

<edit> Hey, try this link, as it seems to be working, at least for now: </edit>
