Warn??

Your help please. Under my Avatar and profile, there is the word warn. What does that mean? Hope I'm not considered a threat or something???

As long as the number says (0%), you are okay. You are only in trouble if the numbers start climbing.

Terry, I don't see this word show up under other people. What is it's purpose?

We only use that for people we think we may need to warn...

Okay, seriously, at this point everyone has it, and everyone can see their "warn" and only theirs. Moderators can see everyone's "warn", in case someone tends to act out, we can use that as a visual aid for them.
There is a formula for it, but basically if you violate the terms of the forum, or posting rules, you would be "warned", and it will show up on your "warn" for a predetermined period. If you have to be warned repeatedly, the "warn" will rise. As it risess, you would start to lose priveleges, like being able to instantly post replies to threads, start threads, etc. If someone makes a habit of violating forum rules, they may have their acount temporarily or permanently suspended. After an also predetermined period of being good, the "warn" level will drop, until it once again says (0%)
Hope this clears things up.

Thanks for the explanations. I was getting all flushed thinking I was saying something wrong or irritating someone.
