volunteer inspector needed

Hello!

We are new members and are almost ready to take the plunge and buy our first airstream!
We're looking for a volunteer inspector that is near Wichita, KS to inspect a 2013 Flying Cloud 25ft ASAP so we can seal the deal.

We are located near Savannah, GA so it is not possible for us to drop everything and go inspect the trailer ourselves.

Can someone please help or guide us to a reputable inspector in that area (KS)?

Thank you very much,
Lisa and John R.

You're sure asking a lot from a volunteer.

I would hire someone to do this. Try https://rvinspection.com.

Actually, this person is not asking a lot! This forum maintains a list of people who will gladly inspect trailers. They are easy to find in the membership list!

I've done it a few times for people. I only ask for a "thank you"! I like to think I maybe had a hand in making their lives a little funner.

Might give member http://www.airforums.com/forums/members/list/ "Alsupp" a shout. He is a volunteer inspector about 1/2 hour from Witchta.

You can do an "Advanced Search" with the tag inspector and state Kansas set to see a list in the membership list under "community" header in the blue bar at the top of every page.

Thank you for the advice and tips.
We will not be looking at the trailer that was located in Wichita. Unfortunately, this sale was a scam--grateful we were smart enough to know better. People can be so dishonest!

I actually found the idea to seek volunteer inspector from Airstream Forum. I don't think I was asking too much at all. I would be happy to help anyone, as well, anytime. That is what makes a Community.

Greetings from the Florida Panhandle

Hi Lisa and John. Welcome to the Forums. We're glad to have you with us. As to your inspection request, it is not asking too much at all. I have personally done several of these inspections over the years, and was glad to do it.

There are many Airsteam sale scams out there. You can usually identify them immediately by saying I'm on my way to inspect the trailer. Where is it? If there is not a clear answer to this question, walk away, it is a scam. This first sign of a scam is a price that way too low for what they claim to be selling.
