Viewing most current thread page

For some unknown reason, I've been unable to view the last page of a thread for the last couple of days. I can see the content by going to "Post Reply" but not thru any of the normal means. Checked settings and couldn't find anything related to this problem. Thanks for any ideas.

It doesn't occur w/ all threads tho.

What OS and which browser(s) have you tried?

I haven't seen this issue using Chrome on OSX or Windows7, but I haven't tried with other browsers recently.

Firefox and Windows 7. But that's what worked in the past.

I just viewed the last page of a few multipage threads using Firefox on my Win7 machine (using that now, in fact.)

Both by clicking the "go to last page" arrow from the Portal page, and by opening a thread at the last post I'd viewed which was on the next-to-last page, and paging to the last page succeeded in displaying the last page without having to try to post a new message to the thread, so I was unable to duplicate with those threads. Once it happens with a particular thread, does it continue to happen?

One difference may be that I'm a "supporting member" so some of the ads aren't displayed to me. There could be a bad ad in the rotation that's breaking the page for you.

Here's one that I can't get to page 2.

See if it works OK for you. I even tried unsubscribing to no avail.

This may be another difference... and you can try changing your settings. I have my account set to display 50 posts per "page" of a thread, so that I don't have to go to the next page as often. That's under Edit Options in the User CP. Try that and see if it makes the problem go away. (you don't have to select 50, there are other options.)

Will try it. Don't have the problem on my Vista/Firefox laptop. Will have to do some more investigation.

Interesting thing was as I watched the url, it would drop the Page 2 part of the address as it was going there.

Thanks for the help. Will update if/when I find solution.

Sorry I can go to page 1,2,3,and 4 I am using Safari and Firefox. I'm not sure what is going on. Have you tried logging out and back in?

Tried logging out, no joy. It only seems to be a problem on a couple of threads.

Changed to 100 posts/thread. That should fix it for awhile.
