View Members Map

The View Members Map function does not seem to be working.
The map comes up OK but no members are displayed.

Yes I'm looking for the members map too and can't find it. How do I access it?

It's an option off of the portal page, but it does not work for me. All I get is this message:

Cannot open XML File

Yep, same result for me still. I reported it to tech staff after Richard's post on July 1. We don't always get a response and then things are magically fixed (who knew your mods were members of a cargo cult?) .

Wonder if somebody's on vacation? I'll report it again.

I noticed that the member map is functional again,
but all of the members are missing.
Will they be back,
or should we re-populate it?

If you check, your personal data is probally still there, at least mine was earlier today when I noticed the map was back up. I was going to give it a day or so in case the tech team is still sorting out the issues.

The map still shows no members (although the map detail is terrific).

I think it stopped working when we got over 20k members. It was taking forever to load anyway. Probably need more torque on the server.

I will respond in general terms only. I'm guessing it's more a software interface problem. There will be an upgrade to our vBulletin software in coming months -- no timeline available yet. Yes, we've lost some functions but I personally want to see the upgrade come first. Please ask again after that.

Can someone please see if there is any update on this. Maybe a timeline has been established (or maybe the work has been completed!).
