May I suggest you change the MH VIN number request to the Airstream Serial Number?

Unlike the the trailer Serial Number, the MH VIN contains no pertinent information as far as Airstream specific build and option info is concerned. The VIN number is the Chassis Manufacturer which is a Federal requirement for State License, Title, and Registration information - relating to the Chassis only.


The Motor Home Airstream Serial number is supplied on a separate plate (usually close to the Federal-Manufacturer VIN number), and is NOT the same as the number that appears on a State issued title.
