Heck a few times somewhat recently, adding new threads would time out and say I didn't have privs either after trying to post...retrying usually got me in...but it was a process.....

I think the page title issue has been fixed. I am looking into a better solution though that removes the opening text of the title on thread pages. I'll keep you posted...

My problem is easily getting back to the one thread I was looking at the previous day and now want to forward. The thread title used to be shown in Internet Explorer's History.

I'm having trouble starting a new thread. It tells me the thread is a duplicate of one I've made in the last five minutes, and so I end up with no new thread at all. This has happened three times.

I get that too....also just today, the similes on the right side of the post screen stopped working in that when I click any of them, they do not appear in the message body (no complaints, just sharing what I'm findin').

None of the enhanced features are are working for me now. The smilies, bold, itallics, hyperlink, etc. nothing is working except just typing. It was working a few days ago. I'm on a Mac and in enhanced mode. I'd insert a confused smilie here if I could.

Now I have to use the quick reply as the "post reply" won't allow me to enter text...

but if I go back to edit I can use the smilies...

Unfortunately I think this has to do with the fact the hard drive is spinning as fast as possible and does not have time to "fetch" the smiles, etc... I am looking into solutions (monster hard drive system).

Talking

Single Hard Drive running OS and software? If so, might want to add drives so you aren't limited by the single spindle.

FYI...for a while now it's been touch and go posting new threads....I haven't posted a new thread in a while. Well, today I did and for some reason, it just won't do it with Safari, no matter what. I went to an old version of IE and without any issue, it took the new thread.

Before I went to IE and tried with Safari on this recent thread (which did work well prior to December timeframe) I would get errors saying the request would time out, but if I tried again, it would say the post was a duplicated, even though looking at the main page, it didn't take. Anyway for Mac folks, if you're trying to use Safari here, some update either on this site or from Apple has blown something up for use with this site, but on others the functionality still works. IE might be a good alternative until the fix on either end is found.
