I like it better than before because it makes the threads easier to find and access. I also hope it will cut down on people who feel compelled to pop in and say how much they are not interested in the thread and its subject or posters. I don't do that in their axle, polishing or tv threads and they really don't need to go out of their way to stop in just to say they don't want to be there nor will they return... ah but they do.

2Air made a good well defended reply for what the problem is. Of course as part of those folks that like the WBCCI aggravation I feel a bit of that guilt as part of the problem rather than the solution for a higher plane of Air. You can watch the how-tos. I like the wraslin'. And Leo if you think those who are not already alerted to WBCCI sub forums here at AirForums may not see new threads I hope they will scroll all the way down the page to read all thread headings. I don't know why they would not. Sounds like you are looking to grab interest from members that have not previously been following the WBCCI threads and as you, I hope that does not prevent them from viewing those thread titles. Maybe you'll have to take out an animated or pop-up add. Might be a good idea for getting enough exposure to be written in onto the 2010 nominating committee. Boy do I wish you would make it this time!!!

I like it . . .

I like The Great Divide. It makes it easier for people to know where to go to get Clubbed over the head. And if others still post to these Clubs threads and state how much they want to ignore or avoid them, we can send them to Cursor Re-education Camp.

For those of you that only are here for the Club stuff, you can now minimize the "latest discussions" and have only Club stuff on the portal page. I just tried it, and it looks pretty clean, what with only the four or five Club threads on the portal page.

I kinda like the new Layout a little. It bunches up all the Wb threads and I can use the THREAD TOOLS to IGGY anything that has the Letters WB in them. Then I don't see them or sort thru em, an have my blood pressure shoot up 90 points. I just don't wanna see all that petty auguing about HOW good that club is or how bad. I only wanna see AIRFORMS NOT WBCCI . I dont want to restrict peoples free speech ,just let em speak so I dont have to read it or hear it. Its my choice.

I just wish it separated them in the "New Posts" sort as well ~

I don't necessarily want to ignore them completely...but hardly need to be reminded of them multiple times a day.

Shari, I wish we could do this for you but at this point it would take considerable programming time to develop that and not high enough on the list. I will make note of it and hopefully we can surprise you with something like that one day.

Thumbs up

"I also hope it will cut down on people who feel compelled to pop in and say how much they are not interested in the thread and its subject or posters."

If this is the cure for that, I'm all for it.

Taking the above thought a little farther, Air members that do not want to see WBCCI stuff can also close the "Club Discussions" section and move the Rally Calendar higher up the Portal page. I tried it and it works.

For me, I really appreciate the dual section view after my first 5 minutes trying it out. I tend to look at most WB threads and only spot check other topics. That will make it easier for me. And again for those that don't want to see WB stuff, just close that section down and you won't see it. It's a win-win! Thanks!

This thread doesn't really need to be in the Club Discussions window, does it?

Andy, Janet and all the other tireless administrators... thanks for the improvement. Now I know where to go in the forums should I decide that a bit of drama is needed.

Good job!
