Trouble viewing Airforums and communicating

I have been having difficulty for two days. Anyone else having issues?

I have sent messages to the moderators, but have not gotten a response. I'm not sure if these messages are even going out.

Some threads will not let me view at all. They just keep flashing like the page is trying to open. When I open various other threads some, most, open with out any problem.

Another issue, when I switch between threads the time changes in the upper right corner where is says "Welcome, you last visited:" Sometimes it says I am visiting at a time in the future.

A third issue, private messages that are days old, that I have read on prior days, show that they were received today. I can delete them, logout, login, and they are still there. I can log out and reboot, still the same.

I have updated my security software and have done a complete system scan. No other websites are giving me these issues.

What's up???

Another issue, when I open the Forum page, the lists of threads show the dates of last message posted. When I open these threads where new posts have been made, some do not show the latests post. The newest post might be from yesterday in the view I see.

We will check into this.

Not sure what issues are but lets start with forwarding any PM's you sent to the site team to me so we can see if they're going out.

Thanks,

Kevin

I can verify this behavior. It happens to me about 30-50% of the time.

Thanks for responding Kevin!
Earlier, to try to contact someone, I used the "contact us" tab at the bottom of the page.

After I post this, I will see if those messages show up in my message list, but I do not think they are there. If they are there, I will send them to you. Either way I will PM you.

I received a PM yesterday that was sent a couple of days previously. I also got a message the server was too busy, try again later.

Kevin,
I went to the "community" tab, selected the member list, pulled down the search function tab, searched Kevin245. Went to your information page. When I click on your name I get the following message. (copy and pasted below) I went back and tried again, but was not able to send a PM that way. I'll try another way.

I get the same message, if I log out wait a min or two I will usually get back on, sometimes though it takes quite awhile. Has happened 3,4 times in the last week.

The "Contact Us" goes to the help desk. Messages do get returned, but a quicker response can also garnered by PM'ing one or more of the site team members.

Well that is interesting....We'll dig into this a bit deeper and post what we find.

Thanks,

Kevin,
I sent a PM to you using the user cp. When I did this, the old messages that were stuck in my inbox saying they were delivered today moved and now are appropriately dated.

When I came back to this thread in the list of current threads I saw that RobertCross had recently posted. In the view that I see right now, his post is not visible.

In order for me to view this thread, it is flashing now when I first open it, I have to go to the address bar and remove the post # from the address. That is the only way I can view!

edit: after I posted the above, I can see Bob's and your posts preceding mine. Could not before

Another issue;
in the view I am seeing right now, looking at posts through #10, when I look at the upper right corner at the "Welcome" the "your notifications" indicates I have 1 new message. When I open it there is no new message in my inbox.

You only have one? We had a glitch here after a previous upgrade when some people had 9999 unread PMs.

Kevin245 has been working on my issues, I assume, and corresponding with me via PM's & email tonight. I think maybe there has been some progress, since this thread is no longer flashing on and off in my screen view. Maybe more successes tomorrow!

Hope everyone has a camping holiday this Labor Day weekend!
Goodnight

My thoughts: If we point out the issues to the people that are working on problems with the change over/service upgrade, they will be able to do their work more efficently.
