Question Trouble Accessing Forums

Is anybody else having difficulty accessing the forums? It seems to be working fine from work, but at home it is slower than molasses in January and the screens look really goofy. Plus I am getting the yellow triangle with the exclamation point in the bottom border of Internet Explorer when it finally does load and this is the text from the error...

Webpage error details

User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/4.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; MDDC)

I tried five different computers at home running either Windows XP Professional or Windows 7 Ultimate and all are running Internet Explorer 8, all with the same results. I even loaded Firefox and Safari browsers, again with the same results. My ISP is Comcast. I think the problem started Thursday or Friday.

I am at my wits end, does anybody have any ideas???

Mine is running fine both with IE, Safari & Firefox. Comcast may have a issue, but I'm no computor guru.
Good luck,
Joe

You may be having an Explorer problem. I would try accessing the Forums with another browser like Mozilla Firefox (my favorite) or Flock. I like both of these much better than Internet Explorer. I hardly ever use explorer anymore.

Brian,
Already did what you suggested with the same results. I loaded Firefox and Safari and both are doing the same thing as Inernet "Exploder".

I guess I need to try and call Comcast or Xfinity or whatever they are calling themselves now.

Your problem may be Comcast. We had issues with the forums loading when we used that ISP. Turns out they were blocking something they thought was malware.

It's been so bad lately that I hit a link and watch TV for a while sometimes.

SBC DSL, not Comcast. Doesn't matter whether I use Firefox, Safari, Opera, or Chrome. New Mac, so no IE.

Other sites load just fine. Just the forums.

I use only FireFox for accessing The FORUMS via TimeWarner. I have experienced NO PROBLEMS. You may have to dump all your Cookies. I use CLEANUP for that. Good Luck

Thumbs up Miracles Do Happen - Forums Running Normally Again

Well sometime between 05:00 and 15:00 today when I got home, the Web Fairies were here and fixed the issue I had been having since Thursday. I had an entire rainy weekend to surf the Internet and the Forums and couldn't. HMMMMM, I wonder if my dear wife had anything to do with???
